The first services of the church were held November 23, 1914.  First recognized as a Baptist Church July 15, 1915. The first building was a basement build in 1916.  The first fulltime minister was hired in 1924.  Dedication of the first building was held July 7, 1929.

A new educational building and office area, second photo,  was dedicated on September 8, 1957. The Fellowship Hall was named in honor of Mr. & Mrs. Lloyd Langdon, faithful members for many years. First Baptist merged with the Valley View Baptist Church in 1964 and began plans for a new building at our present location.  This building was completed in April 1971.  A fellowship hall was added to the complex in 1993.
